When I see a Bangladeshi player playing at the international level and representing 16 corer  people, I really feel so proud just like others, because to play at that level and to keep yourself fit for not a piece of cake.. And if it comes in winning manner against an international cricket, it is very exciting. Cricket, these days are not just a game of bat and ball. It’s all about players, statistics, money, fame, celebrities. Still the most important thing in cricket remains the game and the players. They concentrate more on their grooming because it’s really a challenging thing to face the people outside the field rather than in the 22 yards.

I feel education and attitude for players is necessary. As we all know teams play different places these days and they need to meet different kinds of people and media at the same time and the only language the whole cricketing world understands is English. But unfortunately it’s not very well exercised in Bangladeshi cricket and by the Bangladeshi cricketers. And for that particular reason even the good players from here most of the time are pushed back staged. This is really frustrating for players and their morale boost. They feel very insecure thinking that” If I will play well today I need to face the media and I need to talk in English which is much tougher thing for me than playing good cricket.”

There are so many talents in Bangladesh cricket these days. It’s so huge in number that even sometimes our Bangladesh Cricket Board doesn’t even identify them. There are some players who got good background of family as well as education. It’s tough for any international or national players to carry cricket and study at the time. There are such no scoops for them at all. I know some players who basically carry those two things at the same time and this is really tough for them.

Mohammad Sharifullah national cricketer he is from a well family background and he did well in SSC and HSC examinations. He is currently in his last semester of BBA in Stamford University Bangladesh and his results are very good if you compare his cricket schedule with his studies. As we all know he is a fairly well-known face cricketer in Bangladesh cricket. He carries himself so charismatically in the arena it shows he has got some good education.  He speaks well and most importantly he knows what to say where and in what moment. He has been playing for Bangladesh National cricket league for last Five (5) years. He made his debut at the first class cricket in 2007 for Dhaka Division against Khulna Division. From that game he never looked back. Currently he is playing for Dhaka Metro. Last year at the Premier division cricket league the most watched league in Bangladesh he played for the champions Victoria. He was one of the strength for that team and most of them say the team won the championship for his brilliancy. These days he is recognized as an all-rounder who can bat at any number with his luminosity.

From above statistics we can easily see that he is talented and exciting player to watch. Bangladesh cricket need to focus on him more as he also got good background of education. Well my saying is that if Bangladesh cricket board makes some flexibility for players to groom themselves or if they open an institute from where players can get good knowledge on these things like other international test playing country do than it will definitely bring good success for the team as well as for the nation. The Board need to think not for just what is going on, they need to think will happen after 10 (Ten) years. Where will Bangladesh team will stand at the international level? Players should be Icons for others who are willing to play cricket or for the children not from Bangladesh also from other countries. Than I am sure we will win the World Cup very soon.
